Here are a couple of pictures of last week when my family and I visited Southern Seminary for the Boyce College preview weekend. We had dessert at Al Mohler's house (the President of the seminary). WOW!! It was quite the mansion!
We were most in awe of his library, spanning room after room in his basement, housing his own private collection of 50,000 books! It was incredible, sort of an awesome feeling to be surrounded by all those books!

Wait, is his house a museum now or were you actually invited there for a chat? That is a cool library!
Gretchen, when are you moving? I have some extended family in Glasgow, KY, and when we visit (which is rare) we drive right through Loiusville. If the time comes for us to visit, I will give you a call!
BTW, that library puts mine to shame. But 50+ books is a start, right?
Is that tea you are drinking? Whatever it is...it matches the jacket of girl to your right (in the picture) perfectly! Deep...I know...
Sar -- YES that is their home! His wife and kids were there. Everyone visiting the college that weekend was invited their for dessert.
Net -- we are moving in January. I would LOVE for you to visit! Louisville is a great city! You can bring your kids to the cool children's museum they have there.
Jason -- we are drinking cappicino. The 2 girls with me are my sisters. The Cappicino jacketed girl is Emily, who is a senior and considering going to Boyce, and the one who looks like me is Abby, who is 14.
50,000 books?! Are you serious?! Wow!!!!! Wonder if he's read them all. ;)
Wish I could have been there. :)
I'm guessing it would be a bit difficult to read even part of them all, but it would be cool to try. That reminds me of all the reading I need to do . . .
Wish you were there, too, Kelley! You will have to come visit when your brother and we are down there!
Gretch, if you weren't married already, Paul and Ben would be knocking each other down for you.
Gretch, Melissa and I may be roommates.
